MUMMY TAUGHT ME

Shelves and shelves and damp shelves of dolls house amphoras in shifty and shifting shadows.

Barred the peeling wooden door and shuttered the grubby scratchy windows, the deathly silent little corner shop sells tears, and that was just exactly where I wanted to play. Mummy taught me, so I never cried, not even after the stinging nettles, not even after the first date.
